Has God Changed His Ways?

Posted: September 10, 2010 in Blog Talk Radio: Religion Exposed

Has God changed his ways? Should God change to meet our needs or do we need to change to meet his desires of us. Shouldn’t he know what’s best for us, for he is the one that created man, the heavens and the Earth? Throughout the decades man has continuously in his arrogant nature attempted to show that he is smarter than God. Indeed times have changed but his word stays the same. (Mal. 3:6; Psalms 89:34; Hebrews 12:9) God has a purpose behind every law and commandment that he gives us, even though you may not completely understand them. If we fully love and believe him, shouldn’t we honor everything that he has commanded of us? (Ex.20:6; Proverbs 7:2; M’t 19:17; John 14:15)

Man is on a crash course mission to the Lake of Fire because he has fallen so far away from seeking God’s truth and has replaced it with his own truth. He has put his entire salvation in the hands of friends, love ones, and other Ministers who themselves are confused on the word of God. Religious organizations, pastors , and family have caused people to assume the notion that God has changed his ways in the 21st century, causing them to follow a path of destruction, (Jer 23:1; M’t 15:9).

Matthew: 7:12-14

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

How come we don’t ask questions of these ministers? Make them prove the scriptures! We have become a spiritual society that has been captivated by the short sermons, mega churches, and 100 member choirs with the 10 piece orchestra. People have allowed their soul and their pocketbooks to rest in the hands of these men and women without asking questions. The Bible in the book of Leviticus gave a dietary law, yet commercials stream from coast to coast that says “Pork is the other white meat”! I have people telling me all the time that catfish, lobster and shrimp taste entirely too good to stop eating even though the Bible prohibits you from eating such a thing. God will continue to let disease and ailments of all kinds come among people because of their disobedience. Pastors and preachers have misinterpreted many scriptures causing man to be separated from God. Here is a scripture that they use to justify eating unclean meat:

Acts 10:15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

Here is the scripture that explains what Acts 10:15 was actually talking about Acts 10:28 …. but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Ask any Pastor about committing adultery, killing, stealing, idol worshiping and he will emphatically tell you that it is against the word of God. The Bible says……….. After his discourse, kindly ask him about the 7th day Sabbath! Is that one of commandments as well? Most likely, you will get 1 of 2 responses. “We don’t have to do that anymore, it was nailed to the cross.” Or, “That day was changed to Sunday. Others will say that it was for the Jews and we are not bound by that Law. Regardless of their answer, the Bible tells us that it is forever (Ex. 31:16); That Christ kept it (Luke 4:16); After the death of Christ, Paul kept it and preached Christ on the Sabbath(Acts 13:43-45); The Sabbath (the way it was originally established) will be kept in the New heaven and New Earth. (isa 66:22-23). These are only 2 examples, but the point is God does not change ANY of his ways. What man has done is take ambiguous scriptures and make it appear to be saying that his ways have changed.

Example: Isaiah 1:13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Isaiah 1:14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. Preachers will use these scriptures for example to suggest that not only was the prophet displeased with the Sabbath keeping, but Christ was as well. He was so displeased with it that he broke it himself, suggesting that he has changed from what the Old Testament said. In fact, the Prophet in the Old Testament was displeased with it! Christ did break the Sabbath! But he broke it ACCORDING TO THEIR TRADITION. The true worshipers kept the Sabbath according to God and those that broke away from the “True Church” had a Sabbath according to THEIR OWN TRADITIONS. (Matthew 15:3-“But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition”?)Therefore, it was no longer God’s Sabbath but a phony replica because it included their own traditions. My plea to you is this. Do not be tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; Turn back from your ways and return to him before it is too late!
